When I came home from the hospital yesterday Hannah had this brilliant idea for a collaboration project between us. She has been inspired by other projects in the blogworld and wondered if in my spare time {hee hee hee} if I’d be interested in joining her in collaborating in a photography/word project where we chose a word and then take pictures describing that word.
{Any chance where I get blessed to use her camera is an automatic yes from me.}
So this week we each took pictures relating to the word color. {I like hers better.}She chose mine for me from pictures that I took last week while Gracie was coloring. If you haven’t visited her blog please hop on over to Aspire and leave a comment about her better picture. 😉

A Samuel update as well.
{same pic as yesterday — I just love love love it & had to share again}
His infectious disease/immunology doctor called me this morning letting me know that a set of his labs have returned and that they all look good. We’re still waiting for some more to come in, but hopefully they too come back normal. I am grateful. It would be hard if his labs were off when he felt well.
We also established that he needs to be seen within 24 hours of a fever onset for another large set of labs that would give an indication of why he gets fevers and the triggers.
And finally, the doctor informed me that Celiac Disease could be the trigger for the sickness, fatigue, and fevers. Basically, the gut is damaged and thus leaks infections into the body. Healing the gut = less infections and fevers. It feels excellent to be finally discovering answers. If you’re interested in reading about yesterday’s adventure in the clinic scroll down to the previous post or click here.
Thank you again for all of your prayers.

I love your picture! : ) And what a great idea!!
Praying that it’s only celiac and nothing more. Having more than one condition at one time is so complicated whereas having one gets easier to manage once you figure out what works.
Hugs to you!
Oh my….those pictures so speak to me….of the different colors. What came to mind first was…order and disorder, polished and unpolished, graceful curves and broken edges….maybe I’m looking too deep. Something that happens often. 🙂 Anyway, so neat to do that with your daughter.
Glad that Samuel’s first set of tests came back normal. Continuing to pray.
Much love,
Stacy
I was so happy to hear that Samuel’s first set of tests came back good. PTL
Praying the second ones will too.
Praying still for healing for his little body-weight gain and that he will continue to absorb what he needs from his food for his body to heal and grow.
Praying for continued strength for you as well.
Funny how being a mom can be the hardest and yet happiest thing we have ever been called to do.
Hugs
Jill
Pretty colors! Love the collaborative project! You amaze me as you give so much to each child, what a wonderful mom God has blessed your beautiful children with 🙂
This collaborating is fun- such a cute idea!!! I love your picture. I think they’re equally good. : )
Glad you received some answers! Praying that continues!
Loved seeing the pic of Samuel again. Post it as often as you want!
Praying right now!
Psalms 4:1, 3 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. (3) But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
