Lovely Photo - Wordless or Not-So-Wordless Wednesday at Aspire

as many of you know, my daughter — Hannah — from the blog Aspire, is taking a blogging break.  She went on a retreat this weekend with our youth group where she realized she needed to take a stand.  Part of that stand was stepping back, reflecting, and truly giving her blog to the Lord.

I need to learn from her.

She asked me if I would host Lovely Photo Wednesday for her until she returns.  Of course I told her that I would — because I love her — and because I love the spirit behind Lovely Photo Wednesday.

Today’s picture?  Of my lovely Hannah’s feet perched on top of the leaves at camp.  She’s taking a stand.

She’s got me thinking about blogging, about life, about choices.  Am I taking a stand? Are you?

Thanks for linking up.  I’m grateful — I’d love to see this continue. 🙂

Praying!
Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Beautiful photograph and you must be a very proud mama. Sometimes I think it would do us all some good to step back from our blogs for a minute and really think about the directions we are taking in life 🙂

It seems like there is a lot of thinking about life and choices lately. My daughter recently experienced a situation where she had to take a stand for what she thought was right. I’m very proud of her.

Cool photo. Love the contrast of the shoes and the leaves.

I went looking for Hannas’ WW post and found her post. I am praying for her and guidance. thank you for taking over for her, Hanna has a special eye & touch with her photos, that really can touch you at times. This is a great example, her funny shoes almost buried in the fall leaves. ~hugs & Blessings~

Always such comforting words…praying in Seattle!
Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
