Here’s a cool one. On the side of the vacuum are these little brushes that stick out. Want to know why? Here’s the secret — it vacuums right up to the edge of my baseboards. I don’t have to go around with the crevice tool every single time. Love.
I got their cool Ultimate Hand Vac as well. Not a day goes by where I don’t use it. First off, the pole extends. Did you read that? Not only does this have the amazingly long cord like the vacuum, but it has a pole that extends smoothly and easily. Now my ceilings in my vaulted main floor are all free of cobwebs. Without a ladder. It was just me and my trusty Oreck cleaning the vaults. Curtains cleaned. Cabinets vacuumed out. Under the fridge. Top of the ledge. Couch. Front step. Steps. Back porch mat. Upstairs hall way ceilings. Toaster. Car. All clean. And easy.

Love that is seems to be so great at sucking up dirt, since I have 3 pets and 2 kids in the house. Vacuum cleaners never have enough power for me (to really suck up the dirt well)

I love your blog – and wanted to say thank you for the opportunity. I read the entire blog, and love all of the oreck’s features. But, I really was excited when I heard how deeply it cleaned the carpets. My daughter has leukemia and is very sensitve to things right now, and this would be such a blessing for our family! I learned that when paired with the little hand-held unit, it might work even better than my old faithful canister vac! (thinking I can have the kids both vacuum at once…let them do the stairs…get all levels done in one day for a change…oh the possibilities!) Nice stuff, and still get the HEPA filter bags. Bonus! 🙂
It’s light weight and easy to maneuver. That is one of my favorite things about Oreck!! I have one and will NEVER own another brand! It is glorious! If I win this I will give it to my son Jared in the cottage next door – who always has to come over here to borrow ours! 🙂

I found out that Oreck makes canister vacs. I did not know this! I’ve been looking at canisters for several months, now. Also, I learned that the vac you are giving away is good on hard floors. Fabulous, since many uprights aren’t. Excited about this!

I learned that the Comfort Fit Handle on the Oreck Forever Series Gold has received the Arthritis Foundation Ease-of-Use Commendation and that means the WORLD to me as I suffer from RA and one of my least favorite things to do is to vacuum because of it. I learned that not only extremely lightweight, but with the two speed motor its able to handle both the heavy duty carpets and hardwood floors, but can also easily and gently clean the more delicate throw rugs too.
