e-mealz

by Rachel Marie Martin

Ever not known what you’re going to make for dinner? I mean, we’ve got that all planned, right? ha ha ha…in my dreams…

If you’re like me, by the time dinner rolls around the last thing I’m thinking about some days is dinner. My creativity is shot. And, for me, I can’t grab an easy meal since we have to eat gluten free due to Samuel’s Celiac Disease. That’s where e-mealz comes in.

e-mealz is an online meal subscription site. At first I didn’t think it would work for me since we have such severe dietary restrictions to deal with, but I quickly found that they had some gluten free options. That convinced me that it would work. And it did. One of our favorite meals was a boneless skinless chicken breast baked with lemon and parmesan. The kids loved it.

I loved the convenience and variety of gluten free menu options. They had a regular grocery list and one geared towards shopping at Walmart. I chose the regular grocery list. Most of the products I already had in my pantry. The only drawback that I found was that the sizes of the meals were geared towards smaller families than mine. I simply doubled most of them.

E-mealz breaks down to being $1.25 a week — so well worth looking into — especially if your go-to menu has run a little stagnant. And it’s easy. Open up your attachment and print out your menu and shopping list and go. Make dinner fun again. And easy. 🙂

I was given a three month subscription to e-mealz while I was a part of the tos crew. All opinions are my own, and I received no compensation for this review. To visit e-mealz click HERE. To visit other link ups click HERE.

My daughter is trying this now with her family and loves it. I’m thinking about it. I’m all about saving money and not having to think about meal planning.

We got to review this too and we ran into the same problem. Having to double the recipes. Why do people think “large” families consist of 4-6 people?

We really enjoyed using e-mealz. For the past month or so I’ve had a pretty headache free menu with recipes.

Visiting from the crew 🙂
