Outside.
Playing.
Exploring.
Laughing and living life.
It’s a window of time.
A short window of time.
That time when you are little.
Let me be aware.
Let me listen to you.
Let me know when to hold you.
Let me celebrate the little things with you.
Let me be joyful.
Let me push aside the unimportant to spend time with the important.
Let me remember to guard time.
Let me remember to see you in the busy.
Let me learn to shut the computer.
Let me push away the distractions.
Let me get down on your level.
Let me remember to laugh.
Let me have grace.
Yes, grace.
And patience.
With myself.
Let me live intentional.
In this window of time.
Known as motherhood.
One day
One window of time
After another.

Lamentations 3:21-25 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
