It’s my last day here at the lake.
{and that, sigh, is not a favorite}

So I’m going to share a couple of my favorite moments from the week.
And to celebrate vacation I asked several bloggers
to share some of their favorite vacation spots

Think of the Swiss Family Robinson. Only without the wreckage part.
My honey, my family and I sailed from islands to and fro all around the Atlantic.
From Tortola to Anegada, it was the trip of a lifetime. There were seven of us on a 36 foot sailboat. It was close quarters but it certainly added to the fun.
The trip was full of adventure and lots of joy. We made memories that will last forever!

I adore spending quality time with my four favorite people..
.being able to have no schedule, eat delicious seafood, and soak up the sun.

It’s comforting that Destin is beginning to feel like a home away from home as we get more familiar with the area and find our “favorites.”

thanks so much for including me. it was an honor! : ) i just finished my post for tomorrow for friday faves. and oh my goodness that view picture is incredibly gorgeous. the light is just perfect. i want to go to there!!! oh and your boy is presh! enjoy your last moments there… i wish you could multiply them and stretch it out for a whole entire year.
We actually used to vacation in MN. Went up to a place called Roll-Inn Lodge. It was on Lake Mille Lacs Lake (had to look up the spelling).

My favorite “vacation” would have to be when we went to Ethiopia to get our son. The purpose of the trip was obviously what made that trip!
my favorite vacation is probably every year going to lutsen/duluth with our family. It’s not so much that’s my favorite place to go, it’s that I love spending that precious time with my family. ♥

And I must say, I am totally and completely jealous of Carissa’s vacation–want an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime expereince! How cool! Good golly! That’s like my dream vacation!
Hooray for vacations and rejuvination! I don’t know that I could pick a favorite vacation place. Anyplace will do as long as my family is there and I don’t have to do laundry 🙂
