This week we played cards in the middle of the morning
{Phase 10}
with my Chloe and Gracie
and you know? I was okay with doing that
and leaving the math book on the shelf for that morning.
Thankful for the coffee in the morning
{As I’ve been awake with sweet Hannah due to her foot surgery}
that helps me wake up.
And to drink it in this simple coffee cup
that helps me wake up.

I bought in Hilton Head Island this summer.
Sweet memories.

I love the
beauty of the sun
beauty of the sun
streaming in my kitchen
reflecting off the surfaces
and how it illuminates my favorite pitcher.
These days in the midst of surgeries
and sleepless nights makes me so grateful
for all the little moments in life.
I am absolutely blessed by
Caleb
writing his thanks.
And I love the simplicity
and the beauty
in watching my little boy
sit at the table and play
so contentedly.
I could learn from him.
It’s those moments
those beautiful little moments
that make life joyful.
Being grateful in all
is a posture that defines
me and my outlook on life.
And that posture
comes from
resting in the Lord.

What beautiful things to be thankful for!
You and your daughter have been on my mind and in my prayers this week. So especially important to focus on all the blessings – every day – but especially when there is much healing going on in the home 🙂
