loving his kitty — sweet nostalgia

by Rachel Marie Martin
There are mothering moments that melt my heart.

Completely.

Samuel has this little toy kitty cat
{it’s actually a beanie baby – remember that craze?}
that was Hannah and Chloe’s when they were young.

He loves that kitty.
He carries it with him.
He feeds his kitty.

{I think he loves it because he had it with him for many of his doctor’s appointments}
There is something endearing about seeing him tote that kitty around the house.

And if you could hear his — meow — it would melt your heart too.

I know someday I’ll be nostalgic for these moments captured.
Oh, I love that sweet Samuel of mine.

Thank you, Jesus, for two months of health. Thank you.

Oh how sweet! I would love to hear the meow. Matthew says “choo” for trains now. I just want to record in my memory to play over and over! Have a good day.

It’s so good to see the sparkle back in Samuel’s eyes and I bet it’s back in his Mommy’s eyes as well.:o) Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this Wed. morning. Joyful blessings to you!

What a sweetie! My son has a stuffed dog he carries and he does the same thing. He pets it, feeds it, tucks it in for naps. Melts my heart. 🙂 Such beautiful photos!

His eyes are just beautiful! Kelsie has a blanket that she carries around and it melts my heart to see her love on it the way she does.

Oh, how precious! He is just such a handsome little man. Now that I think about it, I don’t think me or any of my brother’s were attached to any particular items or stuffed animals, which I guess is kind of odd since so many children are attached to things!

Love this! Samuel has a special place in my “bloggy heart” – he and Joshua are only days apart, we went through some health concerns with him last year…and he also has a little kitty that he carries around (we call it “Tiger). If ever I’m reading your blog with Joshua sitting on my lap, he starts cooing and making a little chirping noise when he sees pictures of Samuel! I have a feeling they’d be friends…

Joining you in thanksgiving for two months of health!

He’s such a sweetie!
Stopping by to let you know I’m still praying!
Psalms 55:16-18 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
