1} Mother’s Day was lovely. I really am so grateful to be a momma — each of my children brings me so much joy. At church I played a piece on the piano for the offering and at the end I had my sweet Caleb {who is five} come up with Hannah. Right when I finished he spoke into the microphone and said, “thank you moms.” It was unbelievably sweet.
Write them down. Or facebook them. Or blog. Just write them down — there are many sayings that I’ve forgotten that I wish I remembered.
Have a great Monday! And link up with my friend Carissa — she’s got the winning bracelet from my Legacy Bracelet giveaway on her post today. It is gorgeous.

I adore the freckles! Calebs are so sweet and I’m glad yours gave you lots of love. Hannah sounds like a beautiful big sister…she must have a great teacher.
“God gave me great hair!”
haha! love it!
very sweet blog!
xoxo-Hannah @ a lovely mess!
stop by and say hi!
So incredibly sweet!!! What a lovely little guy… he WILL be a great husband someday!
aww such sweetness for Mothers Day! I love the comment about his hair – priceless! I am constantly writing down the kid’s funny sayings and cute ways of saying words – if I don’t, I’ll be saying later, “MIkey said the cutest thing today; I just can’t remember what it was.”
Love it!! The hair comment cracked me and my husband up:)
My 3 year old is always full of off the wall things to say. The other day as we were driving and our 11 month old was fussing he said, “Can we trade a fussy baby in for a quieter one?” After reminding him that he wouldn’t like being traded in, he changed his mind;) The next day he was walking into the bathroom and my husband was asking him a question. He replied, “Can’t talk, I’m a little busy here.”
Oh that Caleb! He’s my kind of guy! Kelly is glad he’s only five. ; ) One day I want to heat you play!!! Can’t wait to get the scoop on the webinar; sounds fancily cool! Xoxo!
The legacy bracelet is amazing!!! It was hard to send it off as a gift! : ) Thank you a hundred times over!
And, Hannah will make a great mother – especially since she’s learning from the best!!!
I mean hear you play!
I love those sweet sayings of Caleb’s!!! He sounds like a pretty fantastic little guy (all your kids do!)
Today one of the twins was singing the song “Hosanna,” and instead of singing “I see a generation rising up to take its place” he sang, “…a generation rising up to take its plates.” I love it when he sings worship songs, and especially when he gets the lyrics wrong! 😉
What a sweet post and so glad that you were a “celebrated Mom” yesterday. You certainly deserve a big celebration. Blessings for a great week!
What a sweet heart Caleb has! I’m glad you had a wonderful mother’s day!
It was my sister’s wedding this weekend. My in-laws took the boys home early from the rehearsal dinner. As they were leaving I was praising Martin telling him he did a great job and I was so proud of him for the way he behaved at dinner. He said “It was my pleasure mom!” Does it get any better than that? Enjoy your week!
Hope you took a pic of the lego creation so you’ll always have it!

Romans 5:4-6 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A cute saying from one of my daughters when she was little.
I had bought my hubby a watch for Christmas and I told the kids not to say anything to daddy because it was a surprise.
So when dad got home he scooped her up for a hug and kiss and she said,” I’m not going to tell you we got you a watch for Christmas.” My hubby said that made the gift even more special and that is the gift he always remember the most.
