We LOVE All About Reading. Gavin is in 2nd grade, and in Kindergarden and part of 1st grade, we were using A Beka, and he wasn’t learning. It could have had nothing to do with the curriculum and been just a result of him not being developmentally ready. But nevertheless, we had an intervention meeting with the charter we homeschool through, and they suggested All About reading because Gavin is so tactile, etc.. We got it, and it wasn’t even a month before it all clicked. We just got level 2 in the mail, and we love it. My little man is finally reading now and I do believe it’s in part because of that curriculum. So fun!

I LOVE all of the simple things on your list…those are the best most of the time!

My favorite thing from yesterday; a conversation between my 14 month old and my husband:

Eliza: Dada, Dada
Daddy: Yes, Eliza? What would you like?
Eliza: Baaaabyyy

(Especially loved us because we are thinking about having number two soon 🙂

Your photos are just beautiful! There is a peacefulness to them, a calmness no matter what activity is taking place. They are taken with love and that shines through each one of them 🙂 Your children are just precious!! Thanks for the weekly link-up, have a blessed day!!

So lovely. I think of Phillipians 4:8 which is my favorite verse. There are so many things I am grateful for these days, but especially I am blessed with my children’s health. Usually by now, my daughter is very sick during the school year. But she has been strong and well!!! Praise God! 🙂 There are things worthy of praise everywhere. Some days it’s hard to see the blessings and other days our vision is clearer to see the blessings. But there IS always something worthy of praise… 🙂

Am so thankful that Samuel can focus on so many things he CAN eat. Oh those eyes!
Whatever happens keep your eyes on the Lord! Praying!
Psalms 62:1-2 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
