…to present you with this {important} message.
See that look of wonder on Samuel’s face?
Wonder why it’s there?
And why he’s staring out the window?
Here’s why.
Yes, that’s my backyard.
And yes, that would be snow.
All over.
The first snowfall really is a magical moment.
My kids {and I} stared outside watching the world
be transformed into a shimmering blanket of white.
Sweet Samuel stood there content
at the back sliding door
watching the snow fall and fall and fall.
Totally worth interupting
the regular blog schedule
to tell you about our snow.
Do you have snow yet?
Do you ever get snow?

It is lovely, but I’m so not ready yet. It’s almost 60 degrees this morning here in Michigan.
We got what you go! They say it might melt by this weekend. I love that my baby is 21 months old but this is actually his first time in the snow. (He didn’t walk last year so he really didn’t play in it.) The wonder of his firsts is still amazing.
I love this post. It is the same way for us. I love the look on Samuel’s face…so cute. No snow for us for probably some time. It is rare to even have a white Christmas in Maryland.
No snow yet, but we are down in Indiana visiting friends, who don’t get snow that stays when it does come. Back home to Ontario tomorrow, hoping snow comes soon, we are all ready to hit the slopes! 😉
The weather report keeps telling us there will be snow… but still none. Woke up to a ton of frost today, though.

Wow! Don’t you love how excited children are by the first snow (or any snow)? For that matter, I still get pretty excited myself.
We actually had our first weird snow the end of October! It was truly bizarre.
We LOVE snow! Love it, love it, love it ♥ We have had one snowfall this season but it’s all gone already. We’re due for some more next week 🙂 yippee!

I LOVE snow! I grew up in Phoenix, and I remember a freak snowstorm there once (it melted as soon as it hit the ground); I was a little girl in heaven! I live in New Mexico now, and we get just enough snow in town to sled in and make a snowman and make everything look magical; it’s usually gone in about 3 days. I don’t ever get tired of it!
Oh, my word, we are burning up today. Hot and humid! I think there’s somewhere between where you are and where we are that I would really enjoy. :o)
Praying for your surgery in the morning. Get Hannah to post so we’ll know how you did and are doing. Hugs!
Rach, the high this week here is 79. i want to feel cold and festive and like november. wanna trade? ; ) tell Samuel to enjoy it extra for me!
We haven’t had our first snow yet. Today it was in the 60s. I’m not complaining; I love warm weather! But the first snow is something I do look forward to. 🙂
Not enough to keep you from getting to the hospital in the morning…right? Love that sweet little face!!!!!!!!!!!!
Praying hard that all goes well tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
