The weather here in Minnesota has been flirting with summer. Oh yes, we had those couple days last week where it was 102 — making us believe it was summer — and yet, since then, we’ve been sitting in the mid 70’s and have been having our share of clouds.
Summer will come. The whole 6weeks of it that us Minnesotan’s might get lucky enough to enjoy — and in that comes some favorites.
that happens when you take those braids out

Some awesome things to favorite!!! I love the fishtail braids – I do all kinds of braids to my daughter’s long hair, too. LOVE IT! I love the raindrops – and would give anything if we could get some right now! Mmmm…and the fresh tomatoes. My hubby’s garden doesn’t have as many this year as last year, but I’m thankful for those we have!
Great pictures! And thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂
I love summer. And your pictures are absolutely gorgeous!
Their fishtail braids are so pretty! Love that they’re all lined up! I need to learn how to fishtail! 🙂 The first pic of Samuel is just so cute!
What fabulous pictures of summer. In AZ we can only have pansies in the winter. Fun to see them. With Joy, Carey!

Love this! I can NOT figure out how to do the fish tail braid and I want to do it sooooo badly! I’ve watched 100 youtube videos and still can’t do it. I’m braid challenged! Will you come visit and teach me? 😉 also… the tomatoes look YUMMY!

I would take ANY fresh tomatoes – grilled or no. It is an absolute fave of mine!
Also, I have never heard of those braids before nor know how to do them. Do they take a long time?
Such beautiful moments to tuck away in a Mama’s heart. I love them all!

p.s. while I’m thankful for summer too, letting little Granton run to his hearts content OUTSIDE, shirtless and shoeless. I’m also thankful for cool days, which makes summer bearable 🙂
Hannah’s amazing as always!
Love the castle!
Lifting up prayers to the Only One who can answer!
Psalms 4:7-8 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
