a very simple
friday favorite things
for this week
it is simply a
collection of
sweet everyday
moments.
sunset
off to the west
sprinkling
beautiful colors
on my table
simple works
put together
by Caleb
as an extra surprise
for today
brennan
it only took us
three shots to get the one perfect
picture
smile.
not a son of mine
but a well loved
lego
as you can see by his missing
hand
love them
and the giant box
of goodies
that they blessed our family
with this week
on the window sill
quite a
juxtaposition
against the freezing cold outside.
swingset
waiting outside
for little boys
to play on
and me waiting
to get a new one
suggestions please?
really for March
but I’m rebelling
and wishing that
winter was
done.
Samuel

with you one more time.
Love.
Love.
Love.
are my favorite things
from this week.
So often, it is looking at our lives with a lens of gratitude
that helps us appreciate the gift of normal.
In vacuuming, kids reading, dishes to be done, and more.
Take a minute today, on Friday, and step back to ponder
moments where you’ve been blessed this week.
For those that would like to join
this is week 98
of intentional gratitude.

Oh, I was wondering how Geography Matters curriculum is. I just received an email from them yesterday. We use Mystery of History and really enjoy this books!
Rachel – Cedarworks playsets, hands down. No splinters (ever), tall, sturdy, and worth every penny. Who know, maybe you can work out a deal with some social media promo?
Amazing photos of your lovely family! Thanks for hosting, & may you have a blessed weekend!
I LOVE the picture of Samuel and Brennan…so cute…and I can’t believe how dark Samuel’s hair looks all of a sudden! It seems like it happened over night…but no matter what color his hair is, he will always be absolutely adorable 🙂 Happy Friday!
It’s the simple things I often fall in love with most. Beautiful post Rachel x
I love your black and white photos- Especially the jar! 🙂
I’ve only been enjoying you via IG lately and just click to your blog again after a long hiatus from blog reading! Love seeing you share photos from your fam, you are such an inspiring example of a great mama for me to look up to for my four littles… And I agree, wishing winter was done too. This week has been hard & COLD here…
Lifting up prayers right now!
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I love your pics!
You’re in my prayers.
1 Peter 1:18-19, 20 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot (21) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
