temp is way down this morning. I’m thrilled! He’s eating more, which is good because I can tell he lost weight. And, now, he’s sporting a rash on his belly, back and neck. My hindsight guess? Roseola. An odd case of it. My kids typically don’t get it till thy’re over twelve months. When they did they had a really high fever, but not many other symptoms. Samuel was s.i.c.k. When he first spike the temp my first thought was roseola, but I dismissed it once he got so ill. And the doctor didn’t think it was that either…he was too young…symptoms didn’t match. This morning? I’m thinking that’s what he had. I’ll take that over the other options thrown out.
Thank you so much for the prayers. I really believe and have faith in the power of prayer. I am so grateful for each prayer that went to the the Father’s throne. Thank you.
sweet Samuel this morning

Glad to hear he’s doing better- I’m sure you are so relieved. One of my daughter’s had Roseola (probably around 18 mos. old) but thankfully her temp was never that high.
Praise God he is doing better! I hope you both are able to get rest from such a stressful weekend!

Great news, Rachel! I’m so glad!! Oh, and I can’t wait for your “Planting Chums” post! It sounds like it’ll be lots of fun. 🙂
So glad to read he is doing better. It’s so sad when they are so sick.
So glad he doing better 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I am so glad that he is doing better. It is so sad when kids get sick. I always feel so bad for my kids when they are not feeling well, especially when I can’t figure it out or manage it on my own.
When my Derek had strep he broke out in a rash like that-if it happens over his hands too-I would call the Dr and tell him-it is strep with scarlet fever. That is what Derek had-you can get a negative strep result too.
Just FYI.

Thanks for stopping at my blog! I hope you come back again soon.
Your baby boy is adorable, I’m glad to hear he’s feeling better. It’s never pleasant to hear/read about a sick baby.
I’m so glad to hear he’s on the mend! I’m sure it’s a major relief.
he’s such a sweetheart! His eyes still look kinda fuzzy but so happy he’s doing better!
Continuing to pray!
Romans 8:35, 36-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?…Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
