It’s the little things this week
that have brought the greatest joy.
Here’s my list of very grateful
My raspberry plants in the evening dusk
Walking with my little ones counting the baby berries
grateful for little ones who walk with me holding my hand
crazy Minnesota weather
early in the week it was 102
and yesterday it was 62 with high winds
{it makes life interesting}
{it makes life interesting}
thankful for the sweatshirts that I had not gotten around to putting away
Samuel’s afghan
{crocheted by my friend Christina at Bundled in Prayer}
that was in the car during that freezing soccer night
that ended up on my lap.
and speaking of Samuel this sweet picture
{sigh}
the spilled barbeque sauce in my fridge
because it pushed me to clean out the entire fridge
and this cute Gracie girl of mine who discovered the spilled sauce
and offered to help clean it up or play with Samuel 🙂
and yes there’s remnants of stage makeup on that cute face
leftover from the ballet practice
ballet performance coming up on Saturday
my very clean garage
{thank you lupus foundation for picking up my donation}
winning an apron {handmade} from Holly at Hoosier at Heart.…
opening the package and finding not only a beautiful apron but a sweet note
and other heart-warming treasures.
The notebook made me cry
{and I now carry it in my purse}
thank you, Holly, as I was blessed.
cooking with my new apron on
and looking up to see the tomatoes sitting on my window sill
which, by the way, won’t last with my oldest son
Brennan
{the tomato lover}
around
He’s been known to eat several tomatoes at a time.
Pamela’s Gluten Free Flour
{which I used to make}
homemade gluten-free banana bread
which is another item Brennan is known to eat well
Early morning Bible studies
I’m just so thankful
and grateful
for new mercies every morning.

Crushing on that journal! And all your pictures! With Joy, Carey
Is it just me, or have Brennan and Gracie grown up a whole bunch over night!?!? They’re so adorable. And of course, Samuel… Awww! He’s so cute, but that goes without saying. : )
Raspberry Plant pic is gorgeousimo. And what a sweet journal! You deserve little gifts like that!
I’m trying to write my post… (I wish I could do it on my 3G phone! Like I’m writing this comment.) Our Internet is so bad today, though. I’m determined.
Lovely favorites. Thanks for sharing your heart today. Happy Friday! ☺
You are just too sweet. Love that picture of Gracie and the look on her face. I’m so glad you received the package, and hope you enjoy everything! Have a great weekend.
As always, this is beautiful! I’ll have to wait until I get home from work today to link up!
It’s my first time to join, and I love your post and your blog. Early morning bible study… that is something I wish I can do, too.
Really gorgeous post!
I didn’t do a favorites this week, so I am going to link up from last Friday and will definitely be back next week.
I’m too am thankful for those little ones who still want to hold hands with Mommy – even when they sweaty and sticky with an unknown substance… 🙂
Speaking of sticky, I totally relate with your fridge spill. This week ours was homemade strawberry jam – you don’t realize how much liquid there is in it until it’s sat sideways with the lid cracked open for a day!
Have a great weekend, Rachel! 🙂
How lovely! I came here via lowercase letters and I’m glad I did. 🙂
Samuel is so precious. 🙂
Love, love all three pictures of your kiddos. The notebook is beautiful, too! I wonder if I could make something like that? 🙂 And wondering how you make time for Bible studies (even early morning ones) with 7 kiddos at home! Way to go! 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!
Such beautiful pictures! And what a lovely list of things to be thankful for!
Oh, my, Gracie is just beautiful, well, so are all your children and you and Hannah capture them all so well in your photos. Love your list today and I so missed linking up. Just had my wagon loaded today. Hugs to you!
What beautiful pictures! I’m so looking forward to having beautiful lilacs and raspberry bushes. You are very blessed. =)
I always enjoy reading your post…such an inspiration and encouragement to look at and cherish the simple things in this face-pace life with new and special meaning.
Thank you for taking the time to leave the very sweet comment on my blog. I shall be linking up to “favorite things Friday” more often!:)
May the Lord bless you and your dear family.

Only the Lord could make eyes those blue and faces that sweet!
Continuing to lift up prayers!
Lamentations 3:22-26: It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
