this week the faves are a mix
of home life and my adventures at Blissdom
I’ll start at home and end at home.
these are a few of my favorite things
my little man in the penguin pajamas
I mean seriously, who can resist that cute two year old?
Especially wearing those favorite pajamas of mine?
I just had to start with these pics. Love.
Oreck
honestly, I have no words to express how much I love that company
over the course of the past six months or so they’ve become friends.
I was blessed to have lunch with the CEO and other Oreck bloggers.
Here’s a picture — I’m on the right — you can see the top of my head.
{Impressive, I know.}
Thank you, Oreck, for blessing me greatly.
The business cards and the bag
Check out these cards that I was honored to hand out.
Cool fact? My Hannah did the design for them.
And my bag? My cool tote bag?
I got to carry that I Love My Oreck bag around with me at Blissdom.
And that bag? Oreck {my friend Chelsea} filled it with gluten free goodness as well.
Opryland
I left Minnesota
where it is brown and cold and now covered in snow
and walked into this hotel to be greeted by crazy lushness
{and, lol, it was 75 degrees outside}
and green, and water, and not freezing temps.
Gorgeous!
window warnings
um, yeah, I won’t open the window
my room was on floor five
and this was the warning on my window.
my attempt at a picture in a mirror
to all of you who can do this
you amaze me
this ridiculous picture is the best one I shot.
Somehow I could never get the look up and press the button idea down. 🙂
the voice
Hannah, Chloe and I have been watching The Voice on Monday nights.
Well, lo and behold, Chris Mann sang for us at Blissdom.
And yes, he sang that unbelievably fabulous opera audition song he sang on television.
For sure a highlight of Blissdom!
coffee
a total favorite of mine was that the coffee runneth over at Blissdom
and it was served in a beautiful way.
me at blissdom
{take note of these as my hair is actually done}
this picture? With my hiphomeschool mom friends
Wendy and Nicole {who was my roommate}
back again to the snow
flying over Wisconsin
I saw the snow, the cold return.
Why a favorite? I was one step closer to home.
home. eggs. samuel. simple.
love being home
and enjoying the beautiful
{please ignore the morning hair}
joyful
moments of everyday.

I love the morning hair. It looks alot better than mine when I wake up. 🙂
And your photos are beautiful as always.
Loved your post and your pictures! I thought the same thing this morning when I woke up. I loved Blissdom but I was so glad to be home this morning instead of at the Opryland Hotel.
Still so thankful to have met you though!
Blessings friend,
Cyndi
So happy that you got to have this experience and stay at the lovely Opryland (I’m pretty sure I recognized it as that). Oreck chose the right person when they chose you. Always enjoy stopping by your “happy place.” Hugs!
So much sweet goodness! Chris Mann is so good. The Voice is my fave!!! No more AI for me. Woot Oreck! They really blow me away as a company. So glad they sent you. And look at all the fun! And I read you will be going to Allume?! Lucky duck. : ) I’m so happy for you, my friend! Love ya!
It makes me very happy to see that you, too, suffer from morning hair. Makes me feel like I’m not the only frumpy morning mama 🙂
I imagine that it was good to get a break for the usual routine that you have. But I know there is no place like home.
looks like a great time! I so wanted to go and had to sell my ticket – boo!
What a great trip! It looks like fun to me!
So glad you had a good experience at Blissdom. As always, your kids are too cute!
Glad you had such a wonderful trip Rachel!
Awesome photos that give us a glimpse into how God has richly blessed you.
Love in Him,
Laurie
Fun stuff!
I loved this post today. I’ll have to think about doing Favorite Fridays. Great idea.
Even planes in pictures scare me. Glad you are on the ground!
Wow, it sounds like you had quite the week 🙂 🙂 Oh, and love the sweet friend who filled your Oreck case with gluten free goodness 🙂 🙂 Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather 😉
I can’t do that self-portrait thing either. I’m always looking down into the camera!
Nice to get to meet you at Blissdom!
Looks like you had a lot of fun! 🙂
