dictionary.com defines a still as: a single photographic print, as one of the frames of a motion-picture film.
today: organizing, reading those books I put off reading to Samuel, church, and laundry.
want to be: intentional with my time, full of joy, remembering to love the little things.
blessings: new book shelves in the living room, a week with not much on the schedule, fall colors.
thinking: wishing I had more time, finishing my ebook, and what it takes to live with more freedom.
planning: new paint, my November schedule, what I’m sharing at the MOPS group tomorrow.
writing: another dear mom letter, ten ways to keep your house clean, and emails.
loving: my gray sweater, warm fuzzy socks, new friends from Savvy Blogging Summit, and cool air.
grateful: for new opportunities, time to write, and my amazing family.
today {again}: let me be grateful for today, celebrating the little moments, and finding joy.
sunday stills take about five minutes to write – it’s my intentional way to ponder the week that has passed and to prep for the week to come. It’s a single print out of the busy cycle of life, a pause, a way to plan, and to remember.

Oh, I don’t have Sunday stills. I have serving Sunday craziness! I teach 4-6 grade Sunday school and then I have meetings all afternoon for American Heritage Girls, in which I am a unit leader and on the planning committee! Sundays are crazy, but I still get my moments (on other days) of what I call Prayer, Ponder and Plan…and that brings Peace. 🙂
today: returning from a visit to my parent’s farm, in all its autumn glory; packing for a 2 1/2 day hospital trip with my 7 year old daughter
want to be: joyful in the midst of family illness and crazy schedules, at peace with God’s ability to take on what I can’t
blessings: a magic autumnal weekend with family and friends
thinking: pondering if i can blog, read a bunch of books, edit photos and make jewelry in the hospital
writing: a blog post for tomorrow
loving: homemade apple cider we pressed ourselves this weekend
The Lord is always with you! Praying!
Psalms 62:5-8 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
