It’s interesting to think of all the wisdom I could give my younger self.
Dear 39 year old,
Don’t think 40 will be the end of the world.
You’ll make it through.
And, those wrinkle creams?
Well, wear the wrinkles with pride – they show a life lived.
Signed a 40 year old.
What would you write?
This might be my newest favorite video – how can it not be?
Here’s another of mine.
Dear 22 year old new mom,
You’ll read lots of advice.
Tons. It will be everywhere.
But only you know your baby.
Trust your instincts.
Love them.
That’s what matters most.
Signed a 25 year old.
How about you? What would you write?
Signed,
me, the 40.5 year old.

I love Wiretap, I am so sad that it’s ending. Jonathan Goldstein is an amazingly sarcastic, dry, witty genius. Today I turn 40 (eeek!) and I am remembering how much I loved his book “I’ll Seize the Day Tomorrow” which he wrote in lead up to his fortieth birthday. I think I’ll reread it soon.
This video is amazing.
